This third portrait of Larry Levis attached to the one-way sign at the corner of Laurel and China streets in Richmond, Virginia appeared in summer 2012. It replaces the piece that was knocked from the pole during Hurricane Irene.

The image, with lines from Levis’s poem, “Boy in a Video Arcade,” replaces, yet again, the initial image which appeared at the same location in 2007. Like its previous versions, the portrait mimics graffiti on painted plywood.
