In celebration of Eleanor Ross Taylor’s life and work, David Wojahn, Claudia Emerson, Debra Nystrom, Ross Taylor, and Susan Settlemyre Williams read personal selections of Taylor’s poems at the Library of Virginia on May 10, 2012. Awarded the Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize for lifetime achievement in 2010, Taylor died on December 30, 2011, at the age of ninety-one.
The reading is introduced by Sandy Treadway, Director at the Library of Virginia, and Mary Flinn, senior editor of Blackbird.
