Sami Ben Larbi is a French-Tunisian artist currently residing in Richmond, Virginia where he is pursuing an MFA in Sculpture at Virginia Commonwealth University. Ben Larbi is the recipient of several awards, including the 2006 Jacob K. Javits Fellowship and the 2004 Artist Trust Fellowship from the Washington State Arts Commission. His work has been shown at the Page Bond Gallery in Richmond; Lawrimore Project in Seattle and Miami; the Off Grounds Gallery in Charlottesville, Virginia; and Kompact Living Space in Berlin.
