Al Sim is the author of the short story collection Stories in the Old Style (Press 53, 2006). His fiction has appeared in several journals, including Glimmer Train, Terrain.org, The Greensboro Review, South Dakota Review, Gingko Tree Review, and The Tonopah Review, among others. His story “Get the Can” received a Glimmer Train Very Short Fiction Award and an American Renaissance for the Twenty-first Century Silver Rose Award.
