Ben Jurgensen attended college at the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, DC where he received a BFA in sculpture. While in school he was active in the DC arts community, showing in several exhibitions including a solo show in Washington, DC. His work has been reviewed in local and national publications including The Washington Post, The Washington City Paper, Art Papers Magazine, and Sculpture Magazine. He attends Virginia Commonwealth University’s Sculpture + Extended Media Program where he is a second–year MFA candidate.
