Scott Bateman and I have collaborated on several film animation projects in the past. He animated a story of mine for Salon.com, and a trailer for my novel Vacation for McSweeney's. He also animated a short piece of mine that was commissioned by the Creative Capital/Warhol Foundation. We thought it would be fun to try writing a graphic novel together. These are the first pages.
