A Reading by Deb Olin Unferth
On November 6, 2009, Deb Olin Unferth read from her novel, Vacation, on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University. Vacation is the 2009 winner of the Cabell First Novelist Award and the reading was a part of the annual award festival. Unferth is also the author of the short story collection Minor Robberies, which along with Vacation, was published by McSweeney’s Books. She was introduced by Terry Oggel, chair of the VCU Department of English.
