Michele Young–Stone reads from her novel, The Handbook for Lightning Strike Surviors, as part of the Virginia Commonwealth University Visiting Writers series.

She is introduced by novelist and VCU faculty member Tom De Haven and afterwards takes questions from the audience.

The Handbook for Lightning Strike Survivors is Young–Stone’s first novel.

The Visiting Writers Series is sponsored by the VCU Department of English and its Creative Writing Program.
