Emilia Phillips, lead associate editor of Blackbird for 2010–2011, is the author of a chapbook, Strange Meeting (Eureka Press, 2010). Her poetry appears or is forthcoming in Asheville Poetry Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, Cimarron Review, Copper Nickel, diode, Indiana Review, Sycamore Review, and elsewhere. Her reviews have appeared in or are forthcoming from James Dickey Review and Connecticut River Review. Phillips is an MFA candidate in poetry at Virginia Commonwealth University.
