Elise Levine is the author of the novel Requests and Dedications (McClelland & Stewart, 2003) and the story collection Driving Men Mad (The Porcupine’s Quill, 1995). Her work has appeared in Ploughshares, Joyland: A Hub for Fiction, Hotel Amerika, Gargoyle, Prairie Schooner, and Best Canadian Stories (Oberon Press, 2005). She is the recipient of a Canadian National Magazine Award for fiction and fellowships from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Toronto Arts Council. She teaches creative writing at Dickinson College.
