Angela Flournoy is the author of the novel The Turner House (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2016), which won the 2016 Cabell First Novelist Award, was a finalist for the National Book Award, and was named a New York Times Notable Book of 2015. Her writing has appeared in The Paris Review, Los Angeles Times, New Republic, The New York Times, and elsewhere. She is the 2016–17 Rona Jaffe Foundation Fellow at the New York Public Library Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers.
