C. Dale Young is the author of the novel The Affliction: A Novel in Stories (Four Way Books, 2018) and five collections of poetry, the most recent being Prometeo (Four Way Books, 2021). He is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts in poetry (2009), the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation (2012), and the Rockefeller Foundation (2012). He practices medicine full-time and teaches in the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers.
