Laura Lark Received a BA in English in 1987, an MA in Creative Writing in 1989, and an MFA. in Painting/Fine Art—all from the University of Houston. She has been awarded the Juror's Choice Award by James Elaine at the 2005 Amarillo Biennial for Drawing; the Artadia Foundation award in 2004; and the Artists’ Fellowship Award for the Cultural Arts Council, Houston and Harris County, 2004.
