Molly Giles teaches in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Arkansas and is the author of a novel, Iron Shoes (Simon & Schuster, 2000), and two short story collections. She won the Small Press Award for Short Fiction for her collection Creek Walk and Other Stories (Papier-Mache Press, 1996), which was later issued by Scribner in paperback, and the Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction for Rough Translations (University of Georgia Press, 1984). New stories are appearing in The Pinch, Copper Nickel, and Cimarron Review.
