Casey  Clabough is the author of the Appalachian travel book The Warrior’s Path:  Reflections along an Ancient Route (University of Tennessee Press, 2007),  as well as four scholarly books on southern writers, including Gayl Jones: The  Language of Voice and Freedom in Her Writings (McFarland, 2008). His work appears in The Virginia Quarterly  Review, Shenandoah, Sewanee Review, and The Hollins Critic. Clabough serves as English  Department chair and graduate director at Lynchburg College, as literature  editor for the Encyclopedia Virginia, and as editor of the James  Dickey Review.  ![]()
