Yasmine Rana’s plays have been published in Blackbird, The Contemporary European Idea, The Kenyon Review, and TDR: The Drama Review. Her work has been produced at numerous venues including Brooklyn College, Desipina, La MaMa E.T.C., Lookingglass Theater, and Playwrights Theater of New Jersey. Rana was a Walter E. Dakin Fellow at the Sewanee Writer’s Conference and is the resident playwright at Nora's Playhouse in New York. A volume of her work has been translated into Romanian, and her book The War Zone is My Bed and Other Plays is forthcoming from Seagull Books in 2011.
