John Taylor is the author of Into the Heart of European Poetry (2008) and the two-volume Paths to Contemporary French Literature (2005), both published by Transaction. He has also written five collections of stories, short prose, and poetry, the latest of which is The Apocalypse Tapestries (Xenos, 2004). He writes the “Poetry Today” column in The Antioch Review, and is a regular contributor to the Times Literary Supplement, Context, The Yale Review, and Michigan Quarterly Review.
