Richard Katrovas is the author of seven collections of poetry, including his most recent, Scorpio Rising: Selected Poems (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2011). He is also the author of two memoirs, most recently The Years of Smashing Bricks (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2007), as well as a novel, Mystic Pig (Smallmouth Press, 2001) and a collection of short stories, Prague, USA (Portals Press, 1996). Katrovas is a professor at Western Michigan University and the founding director of the Prague Summer Program.
