Catherine MacDonald and Clint McCown read as part of the Virginia Commonwealth University Visiting Writers Series on February 7, 2013 in the VCU Scott House. MacDonald read poems from her book Rousing the Machinery (University of Arkansas Press, 2012) as well as some previously unpublished work. McCown read an excerpt from his novel Haints (New Rivers Press, 2012). MacDonald was introduced by David Wojahn and McCown was introduced by Gregory Donovan.
