T. R. Hummer is a poet, critic, essayist, and the author of twelve books of poetry, including Ephemeron (2012), The Infinity Sessions (2005), and Walt Whitman in Hell (1996), all from Louisiana State University Press. He teaches creative writing at Arizona State University.
