Brian Schwartz has published essays and short stories in Harvard Review, ASCENT, and Painted Bride Quarterly, among others. For several years, he wrote the sports column “A Fan's Notes” at The Rumpus. He is a senior lecturer in the Expository Writing Program at New York University, and has also taught at Bard College, San Francisco State University, and at the Fir Acres Workshop at Lewis and Clark College.
