Susan Thornton is the author of On Broken Glass: Loving and Losing John Gardner (Carroll & Graf Publishers, 2000). Her work has been published in The Seattle Review, Dark Fire Fiction, and The Literary Review, and anthologized in Puerto Del Sol: The Twenty-fifth Anniversary Issue, 1988 and The Best American Mystery Stories (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2016). She has been awarded fellowships from the Massachusetts and the Pennsylvania Councils on the Arts. Thornton lives and teaches in Binghamton, New York.
