Matthew Baker is the author of the story collection Hybrid Creatures (Louisiana State University Press, 2018) and the children’s novel If You Find This (Little, Brown, 2015). His fiction has appeared in American Short Fiction, Conjunctions, Electric Literature, and One Story, among others. He is a recipient of grants and fellowships from the Fulbright Commission, The MacDowell Colony, the Vermont Studio Center, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and both the Bread Loaf and Sewanee Writers’ Conferences. Baker teaches at New York University.
