Jon Pineda is the author of two novels, Let’s No One Get  Hurt (Fararr, Straus and Giroux, 2018) and Apology (Milkweed  Editions, 2013), winner of the MilkweedNational Fiction Prize. His memoir, Sleep in Me (University  of Nebraska Press, 2010), was a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers  selection and a Library Journal “Best Books of 2010” pick. He is the  author of the poetry collections Little Anodynes (University of South  Carolina Press, 2015), winner of the 2016 Library of Virginia Literary Award; The  Translator’s Diary (New Issues, 2008), winner of the Green Rose Prize from New  Issues Poetry & Prose; and Birthmark (Southern Illinois  University Press, 2004), winner  of the Crab Orchard Series in  Poetry award. Pineda is a core faculty member in the low-residency MFA program  at Queens University of Charlotte. He teaches at the College of William &  Mary.  ![]()
