William Logan is the author of multiple books of criticism, including Guilty Knowledge, Guilty Pleasure: The Dirty Art of Poetry (Columbia University Press, 2014) and Dickinson’s Nerves, Frost’s Woods (Columbia University Press, 2018). He has also published ten collections of poetry, including Rift of Light (2017), Madame X (2012), Strange Flesh (2008) and The Whispering Gallery (2005), all of which have been published by Penguin Books. He received the Aiken Taylor Award in Modern American Poetry in 2013. He lives in Cambridge, England, and Gainesville,
Florida.
