Amber McBride’s poems have appeared in decomP, Ploughshares, Provincetown Arts, and others. She was the media assistant at the Furious Flower Poetry Center where she helped with the production of “Sheer Good Fortune,” a program honoring Maya Angelou and Toni Morrison. She holds an MFA from Emerson College and is a professor at Northern Virginia Community College. She also sits on the board for The Scottsville Center for the Arts and the Natural Environment.
