Danielle Kotrla’s work has appeared in The Pinch, Moon City Review, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of the Jawdat Haydar Poetry Prize. She is an MFA candidate in poetry at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she serves as the lead pagebuilder for Blackbird: an online journal of literature & the arts.
