Christine Boyka Kluge's first book of poetry,
Teaching Bones to Fly, will be published by The Bitter Oleander
Press in 2003. Her writing has been nominated seven times for a
Pushcart Prize and was given the 1999 Frances Locke Memorial Poetry
Award by The Bitter Oleander, where she was interviewed and
featured in Fall 2001. Her writing is anthologized in No Boundaries:
Prose Poems by 24 American Poets (Tupelo Press, 2003) and Sudden
Stories: The Mammoth Book of Minuscule Fiction (Mammoth Books,
2003). Kluge is also a visual artist.
