Neil Grimmett's stories have been published in journals in the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, and India, as well in as numerous online journals. In the United States, his work has appeared in Fiction, The Yale Review, DoubleTake and The Southern Review. His stories have been selected for the anthologies England Calling (Weidenfeld and Nicolson) and Book of Voices (forthcoming from Flame Books), among others. His novel The Bestowing Sun was published by Flame Books in 2004, and he has recently completed a new novel. Grimmett has recently received a bursary from the British Arts Council. He lives in Madrid.
