KARINA PEISAJOVICH | Painting, Light, & Shadow
Then the water went to the next painting. (I’m kind of showing how I’m moving in a diagonal way in my work.) This painting is an homage to two painters, David Hockney and an Argentinean painter called Fernanda Laguna. I asked her to design the dress of the figure, and I put a piece of a pool of David Hockney's.
I wanted to make a series of work like these. It was like one painter looking at the other painter, so I just directed this piece.

Then the water came to this painting—the water of Hockney's pools came to this painting—and this painting is called A Bath.
