KARINA PEISAJOVICH | Painting, Light, & Shadow
I will show you some images of my work, kind of chronologically. I’m a painter, and I started painting with oil on canvas, and then I moved to the space. I'm going to show you all the transition of my work and some videos.
The first body of work I started to do was self-portraits, but I wasn’t interested in self-portraits. I was mostly working with performing in the paintings.

In this period I started to work with the turtle, and I used the shell of the turtle as the dress of the figures. I like the shell of the turtle. I like it because it makes me remember—like a floor, like a furniture; I like the geometric design.
This painting is called Blue Light Blue, Light Blue, White. I was thinking in water turtles.
