David Dodd Lee is the author of three full length collections of poetry, Abrupt Rural (New Issues, 2004), Arrow Pointing North (Four Way Books 2002), and Downsides of Fish Culture (New Issues, 1997). His poems have been published in Pool, Prairie Schooner, Nerve, Willow Springs, Quarterly West, American Literary Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review and elsewhere; and his fiction has appeared in Green Mountains Review, Crowd, and Sou’wester.

He has been poetry editor at Passages North and Third Coast, the literary magazine published at Western Michigan University, where he received an MFA in Creative Writing in 1993, and a BFA in Painting in 1986. Together with Donna Munro, he publishes Half Moon Bay poetry chapbooks. He is editor-in-chief of the annual anthology SHADE, published by Four Way Books.  Lee teaches creative writing and literature at Indiana University South Bend.
