One of Kavita Dorai’s stories has appeared in Eclectica, and she is at work on her first collection of short fiction. She is currently a faculty member in the physics department of the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, where her research focuses on quantum computing, using spins as quantum bits or “qubits.”  She lives in Chennai (formerly Madras), India.
