Craig Beaven is a doctoral candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Houston, and is a regular contributor of reviews to Blackbird. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in American Literary Review, Marlboro Review, Nimrod, Puerto del Sol, RATTLE, and Redivider.
