Catherine MacDonald lives in Richmond, Virginia and teaches writing at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Washington Square, The Cortland Review, storySouth, Babel Fruit, and Crab Orchard Review, and is included in the anthology, Letters to the World (Red Hen Press, 2008). She received the Catherine and Joan Byrne Poetry Prize and a Ropewalk Writer’s Conference scholarship.
