Michelle Brafman is an award-winning filmmaker and writer. Her stories have been published or are forthcoming in The Minnesota Review, Gargoyle, Fifth Wednesday Journal, Bellevue Literary Review, The Los Angeles Review, Literary Mama, and numerous other journals and anthologies. She is a winner of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Short Story Award and the Lilith Magazine Fiction Prize. Her fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and for inclusion in Best New American Voices 2009. She teaches creative writing at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
