Tanaz Bhathena’s work has appeared in various journals, including Witness, Asia Literary Review, and Room Magazine. She has received the 2009 Emerging Literary Arts MARTY Award, and the June 2009 Whidbey MFA Student Choice Award. Bhathena has received grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council, which allowed her to complete a collection of interconnected stories.
