Kyla Marshell’s poems appear in CALYX Journal, Mythium, The November 3rd Club, PMS poemmemoirstory, and Eleven Eleven Journal, among others. Her writings on jazz have appeared in Okayplayer’s The Revivalist. She is a Cave Canem Fellow. Marshell received an MFA in writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
