Leia Darwish’s work has appeared in Copper Nickel and Blackbird. She earned a BA in English literature and creative writing from the University of Colorado–Denver, where she worked as the managing editor of Copper Nickel. Darwish is an MFA candidate in poetry at Virginia Commonwealth University.
