A Conversation with Dana Levin and Matthew Zapruder
Dana Levin is the author of three books of poetry, all from Copper Canyon Press: Sky Burial (2011), which was noted for 2011 year-end honors by The New Yorker, San Francisco Chronicle, Library Journal, and Coldfront; Wedding Day (2005); and In the Surgical Theatre (1999), which won the 1999 American Poetry Review/Honickman First Book Prize. She has received many awards, including the 2004 Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers’ Award, the 2005 Whiting Writers’ Award for poetry, and a 2007 Guggenheim Fellowship in Poetry. Levin chairs the Creative Writing and Literature Department at Santa Fe University of Art and Design.
