John Bresland works in video, audio, and print. His work has been anthologized in Essayists on the Essay: Montaigne to Our Time (University of Iowa Press, 2012) and The Fourth Genre: Contemporary Writers of/on Creative Nonfiction, 6th Edition (Longman Publishing Group, 2011). His essays have appeared in Ninth Letter, Brevity, and Blackbird. He teaches creative writing and filmmaking at Northwestern University.
