REBECCA FOUST

Rebecca Foust is the author of five collections of poetry, including Paradise Drive (Press 53, 2015), winner of the Press 53 Award for Poetry; God, Seed (Tebot Bach, 2010); All That Gorgeous, Pitiless Song (Many Mountains Moving Press, 2010); Mom’s Canoe (Texas Review Press, 2009); and Dark Card (Texas Review Press, 2008). Foust is the recipient of multiple awards, including the 2017 C.P. Cavafy Poetry Prize, the 2016 James Hearst Poetry Prize, the American Literary Review’s 2015 Fiction Prize, and the 2014 Constance Rooke Creative Nonfiction Prize. Foust is also the recipient of fellowships from The MacDowell Colony, The Frost Place, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and the West Chester University Poetry Conference (WCUPC). Foust is the poet laureate of Marin County, California, and writes a weekly column for Women’s Voices for Change.  end
