Susan Glasser has more than three decades of museum experience including positions at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the North Carolina Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Fredericksburg Area Museum. Glasser has curated seventeen exhibitions on historical and contemporary art, architecture, and crafts and has twice been a national award winner of the American Association of Museum’s Brooking Paper on Creativity in Museums. Her work has appeared in Museum, Blackbird, Slackwater, and Art Papers, among other publications. She holds a PhD in museum theory from Virginia Commonwealth University and manages the public art program for the City of Richmond, Virginia.
