Rodney Jack served as a yeoman in the United
States Navy before earning an MFA from Warren Wilson College, where
he was a Holden Minority Scholar. He has also been a Peter Mayer
Scholar at the Sewanee Writers' Conference, and received a writer's
grant from the PEN American Center. Over the past decade his work
has appeared in numerous magazines, including Poetry, which
awarded him the Eunice Tietjens Memorial Prize.
