Gerry LaFemina's next book, Graffiti Heart,
received the 2001 Anthony Piccione Prize in Poetry from Mammoth
Books and will appear in early 2003. His other books include Zarathustra
in Love (prose poems), Shattered Hours: Poems 1988-94,
and 23 Below. He is also co-translator, with Sinan Toprak,
of Voice Lock Puppet, poems by contemporary Turkish poet
Ali Yuce. LaFemina's work has appeared in numerous journals, and
he edited the journal Controlled Burn from 1994-2002. He
has taught most recently at West Virginia University and at Sarah
Lawrence College.
