Melissa Pritchard is the author of three prize-winning story collections and two novels. Her third novel, Late Bloomer, is forthcoming from Doubleday in spring 2004. Pritchard is the Director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing at Arizona State University and is also on the faculty at Spalding University.
