Sarah Manguso is the author of The Captain
Lands in Paradise (Alice James, 2002) and Siste Viator (forthcoming
from Four Way Books, 2006). With Jordan Davis, she co-edited
the anthology Free Radicals: American Poets Before Their
First Books (Subpress, 2004). Educated at Harvard and the
Iowa Writers' Workshop, she was the Hodder Fellow in Poetry at
Princeton in 2003-2004. Her poems and prose have appeared
in The American Poetry Review, The Believer, Boston
Review, London Review of Books, McSweeney's, The
New Republic, The Paris Review, and three editions
of the Best American Poetry series. Manguso lives in Brooklyn
and teaches at the Pratt
