KARINA PEISAJOVICH | Painting, Light, & Shadow
Then in New York I was invited to do a site-specific installation in the Islip Art Museum. It’s a very, very strange museum. There was a room that had a door on one of the sides that seemed to be the outside of the building. It was like the building was turned inside out. It was like an already made sculpture there, so I took this piece of the room. On it I painted stripes.

This was the outside, so the outside also looked like the inside. It was a very strange situation.
