Nicky Beer’s collection The Diminishing House was published by Carnegie Mellon University Press in 2010. Her poems have appeared in The Kenyon Review, Poetry, and TriQuarterly. She has won fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Poetry Foundation, and the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. She teaches at the University of Colorado Denver, where she coedits the journal Copper Nickel.
