Taylor Altman is the author of a book of poems, Swimming Back (sunnyoutside, 2008), and her work has appeared in Mezzo Cammin, The New Formalist, Notre Dame Review, and Salamander. Altman was awarded the 2007 Shmuel Traum Prize in Literary Translation from Boston University for her translation of François Villon’s “Ballade des pendus.” She earned an MFA in creative writing from Boston University and a BA from Stanford University. Altman is working toward her JD at Berkeley Law School.
